Can't seem to finish my cycle .....?

i got a 45 gallon and i got about 30lbs live rock and 15 of base and deep live sand deep.

Its been alittle more then 2 weeks and my ammonia is very high still !!!!!!!!

What does this mean ad how can i help it along ????

yeah a cycle can take up to 6-8 weeks...Are you running carbon and a skimmer?

you also need to do water changes.. the cycle will never stop if you dont do water changes...

do at least 2-3 100% water changes every week for the next 3 weeks...

then test again....
