'c-quest' from puerto rico used to supply the vast majority of the captive reared hepatus to the american market. i'm not positve that c-quest is still doing this, but i do know that 'aquarium arts' from california has been supplying them recently.
i'm sure there are others that i am not aware of as well.
where they originate from in the pacific i really do not know.
