Care of Yellow branching Porites?

Just got a frag of this. I am guessing porites cylindrica (sp).

What requirements will be best for this, in terms of flow, and light?

Mine started to grow a lot faster when I placed it higher in the tank with good flow. HTH.

seriously though its super hardy should just grow rampantly anyways

yea. they are SO hardy. like when I transfered tanks. most of my corals RTN but porites just go pale and come back to life real fast. AMAZING healing rate when stung, but a slower grower

I have actually had better luck putting this species in less brightly lit sections of my aquarium. Just my 2 cents.

High flow, bright light---better color too. Have a piece lower in the tank not nearly as colorful.

Wierd growth pattern....
