Center brace on tank stand ?

Well, I finally got my 90g AGA RR tank last night and the AGA Pine stand. Only problem is, I do not know how I am going to get a big enough sump in the stand. It has support braces in the front, top and back and they are all right in the middle. Would it be ok for me to remove the center brace from the top, drop the sump in and then put the brace back in place??

Yes it will be fine to remove but make sure that it goes back in snugly.

Not a problem when the tank is empty.

Make sure you secure that center brace well. Pine is not a "hard" wood, but it'll do the job. I've got a similar tank and the weight of it is probably close to 1000 lbs.
