I'm exploring what to do with my empty tank...What cephalopods are suitable for a 60 gallon or smaller tank?

I have looked into Bimacs and S. Bandensis cuttlefish.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

There are various dwarf octos, which, unless they're captive bred (not likely), will only have months left to live.

Bimacs are really your best choice. they're the most available, probably the cheapest, and most widely recommended for that size aquarium.

there's more info on ceph-keeping here: http://www.tonmo.com

i wouldnt go with a cuttlefish because they really need more room. a dwarf octo will be fine if you can get one that is correctly labeled. a lot of lfs dont have a clue.

60 and under

60 and under

Mine are in 55's but I circulate them off the sump from my reef (220) and run them as refugiums.
