Is a chalice ok near a clam, frogspawn, blue mushrooms? I want to get a nice purpley one with neon eyes, but I'm not sure about placement. I have a spot that is low, slightly indirect from a 250w 10000k hqi ushio (which I'm soon to change to a 14000k pheonix) with some a little shading. But the spot is just above a squamosa (that's attached to the base of this rock), and a frogspawn that is just on the other side of the rock (ie this face is 45 degrees to the front left, and the frogspawn faces 45 degrees to the front right). There are a couple of shrooms on this face.

Shrooms should be ok, clam should be ok, frogspawn may sting it.

It's not too invasive? Do you think the frogspawn will sting out shrooms and the clam?

To be honest the only frogspawn I've ever owned is a BB sized head I just got from my girlfriend, so I don't know what exactly it will sting. I've seen hers toast sps frags though, so I know they do. I don't know if mushrooms will sting anything, but may get stung by the frogspawn as well as the clam. I'd just move the frogspawn somewhere else if I were you.

also shrooms are not always ok. you have to make sure that when they expand they dont cover some of the chalice flesh from light. Right now im trying to nurse back some rotundoflora after only a three days of a shroom laying on top of a 3/4x1/2 part, i realized that area loosing flesh
