How often do you all change RO membranes?

It depends on how much water you make but about every 2-3 years. When the TDS percentage that gets past the membrane starts to increase it's time to replace it or you will start to burn through DI resin quickly.

Hope this helps. This is the formula that I use.

Determining when to change membrane:

For example:
Left-hand TDS IN: 205
Left-hand TDS OUT: 20

205 "“ 20 = 185
185/205 = 90

95 and lower, replace membrane.
