Changing tanks advice

Been following.
Sorry about the crack in the tank. Glad I got to see it before this happened.
I think everything you did with the sand was the right way to go. Exactly what I had done with changing over to my new setup and had great results.

Wondering what the thought was behind bleaching rock. I just rinsed any detritis off of mine and moved it right over (I realize it probably had to sit longer for you)

Yes and when u put it in the tank u will have a cycle

sry i dont think i explained right there were only 3 pieces of rock that i bleached 10pds i still have about 120pds of live rock in system...
i finished last night but i noticed my ammonia was at .2 so i did a 15 g water change today and will check tomorrow how it is in the morning
only thing that seems affected is my large rose bubble it didnt look to good today
