Cheap alternative to Super Glue Gel?

hi All

I believe that there are posts on this already, but I'm hoping for a quick answer...

Can anyone recommend an alternative to Super Glue Gel? I have no complaints about it- other than it gets expensive for tiny tubes. I believe that 'Michaels' hobby shop offers something, but I forget the name. Can somebody remind me?

Please let me know.

Come on....cheaper than crazy glue?

I hear you. I just get annoyed spending $3 for a tube, having the whole thing harden & get crusty, and then puncturing the glazed-over tube hoping to salvage a few more drops.

I thought I read about a glue that comes in a larger tube, and is just as cheap & dependable.

On the contrary, buy the packets of very small tubes. Crack one open, use it for 2-3 frags, then dispose. No need to worry about them drying out. You can probably get a package of 6 for under $3 at any local pharmacy.

All i use is BSI ic gel works the best out of all the glues ive tried, kinda pricy but lasts a long time and wont harden in the tube

Ic gel seems to be the best value for me. $5 at the hobby shop for a good size tube and never had a problem with it hardening.

you guys don't have dollar store at places you live????

I was thinking the same thing. I go there and buy the pack of 3 Super Glue gel tubes for 1.00. They look at you crazy when you buy 5 or 6 packs at a time like you broke all your plates :).
HD also use to sell packs of 12 for around 5-6 also awhile back.

I have been using the gorilla brand super glue, I have left it open and it did not clog up or dry up, and it's cap has a pin sticking out so the nozzle is always clog free. its not gel, but cures fast enough, too fast I think that its not a problem.

dollartree.com is the dollar store i go to. you can get it there for $1 for 3 packs only catch is you gotta buy 48 packs so $48. it ships free to a store if you have one near buy if not maybe you can pay shipping and split it up as a group by of some sort with the locals. good luck

Broke all of your plates LOL.

I use BSI glue I like that it comes in big tubes and they dont crust over...Most of the time...

Am I the only one that hasn't had the glue harden in the tube?

Are you guys putting the cap back on?

Hmmm..... Don't get it...

Anyways, I prefer the Loctite brand, HD has the large 10g tube for like $4.79. Sometimes when I do very little fragging, the tube lasts me a month at least...
