Check this out!

dont bother. If you read some reviews of his feedback its not good. Ive known people who bought from him. The instructions are childish and hard to understand. you must glue all the peices together.

Jonviviano is absolutely right. I bought one of his kits expecting it to be glass, but it is actually 1/8" acrylic (that was not percision cut by any means). Also, the bulkheads he sends you are not really bulkheads, they are standard PVC FPT and MPT adapters. After enough fighting with him I finally got him to send me actual 1" bulkheads.

Do yourself a favor and go to home depot or lowes, buy some acrylic and cut it yourself.

Look how beautiful his "crap" looks...

Yeah it was a little difficult to build as you almost "need" two people to build it but the construction wasn't bad at all as you can see and for the price I think I came out ahead in the end. To each their own but I'm glad I went this route.

Thanks

Nice Pic.
That's the 145 dollar model?
Was it really a "precision" fit?
How much headroom do you have left if your main pump shuts down?

Thanks

89.00 Dollar Model 24" Long

If it wasn't a precision fit it would of leaked everywhere and it's been running now for almost two months

Tons of room left even when I shut down my Mag 5 skimmer pump, Mag 7 return pump and CL System. I have no worries about overflowing what so ever.

I ordered this product too after assembly it was very nice, all the peices fit very well! It did not leak at all and it is very easy to put together, and as for customer service Bill was actually very east to do business with, if you had any questions he would promptly respond! I would most definetly do business with him again.

Hey compulou, where did you get that light from if you don't mind me asking? I ordered the same sump/refugium and am looking for a refugium light. What brand is it?
It took me a while to put everything together but it definitely beats paying over $200 for one of these. The only thing that sucked is that he gives you very little "glue" to piece everything together. The problem is transferring the glue from the vile to the applicator tube. I spilled that stuff everywhere.

Danny,

The light is from Corallife, 9" long, 18w total. Bill sent enough acrylic in the kit that my pops and I were able to cut up one of the extra pieces and make the light holder.

I feel ya on the gluing part as it was a little hard at first. But after a few passes I became a pro. Even went to a local acrylic shop and gave them dimensions of 12x12x6 for a top off container and I glued it together without any problems either using the applicator Bill sent. Since my dad and I both bought fuges he sent us a nice large bottle of the glue for free.

They now sell these kits for $29 plus shipping it is a good deal, if you need a refug or a sump this is a great buy, assembly is a snap. Shipping took only 2 days. Very quick, i am not dissappointed and neither will you guys dont let this deal pass you by!

Big Al's in Tamarac? That's where I bought my 72g bowfront. They have good deals there. Huge Store!

I see that your in Miami as well, where is the local acrylic shop you went to?

I bought a 20L($32),1/4"acrylic($20),bulkheads($12 ) and a tube of silicone($5).totaled $68.00.Works great and was easy and cheap to build.

Oh and my light I bought at Home Depot for $30.00,32 watt 6500k floodlight. You can also now buy 6500k daylight screw in flourescents at walmart for $8.00 for a package 2 of them. They have about 2 or 3 different watt sizes to choose from.Just buy a cheap clamp on light for about $6 bucks.Great for Your fuge.

I bought a 15" hang-on fuge kit. I use it inside my stand with a 20H sump. I found all the pieces to be cut very well. I will say, it was a little difficult to get together and the instruction sheets were copies of copies of copies of copies.... I noticed that the parts actually came from NC. I think the seller is in PA. It included the glue an applicator bottle and a needle applicator. PLEASE be careful with the needle. I'm sure this stuff can do bad things to you if you accidentally inject it into yourself.

I assembled mine by myself but would it would have been easier if my wife had helped. I only used one baffle since it's only being used as a fuge inside my sump. I had a couple of leaks at first, but was able to get them sealed. I also went ahead and used some GE Silicone I for extra protection. For $25, I thought it was a nice buy. I use a clamp-on Azoo Galaxy light with it: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produ...&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=0&Nty=1

I also circulate water through it with a MiniJet 606. The water flows from my sump into the fuge and back into the main sump.
