Chemi-clean - skimmer going crazy!!

just got done using chemiclean about two days ago and my Euroreef skimmer is still going crazy. I can seem to turn it down..its at the lowest level.
Any suggestions?

did you do a couple of water changes after you added it? I did three 50% water changes before my skimmer started to work right again.

whoa..I just did 1 20% water change as stated. Do I need to do more?

Chemi-clean breaksdown after about a week and then your skimmer will go back to normal. Also why did you add it, do you have a red slime algae bloom? If you do you might want to keep it going for a week without a water change to let it kill the slime. And if you did treat chemi-clean for a slime algae bloom you can use maracyn to kill it about 2 tablets and its gone and its a lot cheaper then chemi-clean.

No red slime...i just heard good things about it and that everyone was using it, so i decided to give it a try.
So just wait about a week..do i need to do more water changes?
