Chili Pepper and Sun Coral Questions

Hey guys, I bought a red chili pepper and a sun coral last night from the LFS I work at. Now I know that they aren't photosynthetic, and you have to feed them. For food I have phyto, zoo plankton, formula one frozen and cyclop-eez flakes.

My questions regarding these corals is how long have you had yours? My co-workers told me they can be difficult but I wanted the challenge, as this is my first time trying these. Also, I've started feeing them by hand with a syringe, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Do you just spray it in the general direction or do you get it as close to the mouth and try to fill up the mouth? Any tips would be great. I'll post pics soon.

Syringe is a good idea. I use a rigid tube attached to syringe with a small piece of air tubing. Get the tube close to the tenacles and they will grab it.

The sun coral is fairly easy to keep, the feeding may be a hassle for some and target feeding is what most people do for sun corals.

As for chili coral, I haven't been able to find a lot of info on what they eat but I am thinking small foods like zooplankton, mashed up formula one and two may work.

For the sun coral feed meaty foods like mysis, brine, small pellets may be fine and also flakes could work as well. Some people feed theres cyclopeez.
