Hello all
I want to add a chiller to my system but i need to place it in the basement under the tank due to wife not wanting to see it hear it or notice heat from it....
So my tank is a 300 with a 40 gallon fudge and 50 gallon sump for skimmer return pump apex phrobes etc
Would a 1/2 hp be able to cool in the summer i do have central air but some times with the t5s the tank will get around 82 or 83 degress
Main question is do i install a insump pump to push water down in to basement then back up i know gravity will help feed the chiller once it goes over the side of the sump
Now i do have a spare hammer head pump i could use to supply and return the water
Any advice would be great i just dont want any temp swings as i am going towards sps
