Chiller leaking fresh water

Hi.

In the last two days I have found a little pond of fresh water under my chiller. My guess is that it is from condensation. It is very humid here in Panama, but this is the first time I notice water on the floor under the chiller for the year that I had this chiller (used).

What could be wrong? Or is this normal? The pond is not that large. Absorbed with a small cloth.

Hi Jose. No... The water is not salt water. It is fresh water. Must be some kind of condensation. But did not happen for a year until now.

Make sure the grill and coils are free from dust.

High ambient humidity levels coupled with high air temp and longer run times will create more condensation on the coils.
