City Zoo - New Owner??

Just saw an ad for Sandra's City Zoo.

Anybody know anything about the new owner of the City Zoo in Elmira?

Yeah It's Sandra that used to manage The City Zoo. I'm sure you would remember her if you saw her. I'm expecting good things out of her purchasing the shop. Seth is already working there again as well.

i was in there today.way better!!! they are still working on the shop.but the tanks are clean and they have a selection now and the fish look good and healthy.

Yay!!! It's about a 40 minute drive and the last couple times I've only gone to TFO, which I like, but it'll be awesome to have two stores to visit and select from now. I haven't even gone in there the last couple times because I couldn't bear it after last time I went (few months or so back), I hate seeing unhealthy fishes, makes me sad. :/

I just went there tonight, and have been in a few times in the last couple months. Sandra has always been very nice to deal with, and now that Seth is working therer again the tanks have been looking much better than before. I know the younger guy there was more into freshwater, and the FW selection has always been good there, but I don't think he was too up on keeping SW healthy and well.

The coral tank is starting to get filled up a bit and everything is bright and open. The 180g is still at the store, and I just saw a guy drop off a light for it with 3 MH's, LED's, and it looked like T5's also. I'm hoping that the selection becomes what it once was. I only have a 5g set up right now, so there's not much that I can get for now, but maybe once the Zoo gets going good again I'll have to set up another!
