Clam feeding

I know many people are probably of the school of thought that clams do not need feeding. Assuming that clams do need feeding, what do you feed them?

I have DTs but would like to suppliment with something else.

Everything that I have read about feeding (Online, Knop, etc...) says that the size of the food is very important and small is good, but nothing I have found will tell me exactly what size is small. I have read some info about using yeast (normal baking yeast) but the individual "grains" are waaay bigger then I would call small for a clam. I have some Golden Pearls but those come in a variety of diffrent sizes, which one is best?

Can anyone help here?

Thanks
Jon

just keep up the DT's becuase they are your number one product to feed clams and do not forget to keep you calcium level about 400 ppm
