Clam tanks with viewing panel

I have been considering one of these tanks from

clamsdirect.com

Can I see some pics of those who have these tanks? Before I make my decision, I would liek to re assure myself after viewing others tanks.

I have one of his 40 gallon tanks - it is really nice - you do get some air bubbles that build up over time on the horizontal viewing panel but if you crank up the flow enough, use a really big sump to help eliminate the micro bubbles it isn't big deal - in mine they slowly build up over a week or so.

The only other negative is that the wierd angles kind of make certain areas like the front corners hard to scrape/clean.

And there is no better way view the clams - I wish he had a 60 gallon or larger version - may want to look at getting one made that is slightly larger. Any tank manufacturer could make one...

Tagging along, I am thinking about having a tank custom made with a 45` angle. Any thoughts or input??????

I would like to see pictures also.

I am not sure about the acrylic tanks, but in a glass tank, it's the glass that "filters" out the color. We have a display tank here that was specially made to overhead viewing of our clams. It is low to the ground and open topped (Pendant Light). You can really see a difference from the side view (thru the glass) and a direct down view.
