cleaning silicone from glass

I'm reusing some glass baffles from a sump and trying to remove the residue from the glass. I scraped all the bulk of the silicone with a single edged razor but how do I remove the residue so that I can re-silicone the baffles back in?

Is there some chemical that will break down the silicone?

thanks,
doug

There are a couple of chemicals that will slowly break it down, but I don't remember what they are, you can get one at Lowes or so I saw in another post in the solvents area. But a razor blade should remove most of the silicone, then I just cleanup with acetone and reuse.
