cleanup crew kills?

Im about to get a clean up crew. Just a couple of shrimp and snails. Question is i just got some live rock last week and i found some baby starfish on it. Will the cleanup crew kill the starfish?

unlikely, unless you get mantis shrimp
or hungry oversized crabs

So you know, this is probably an asterina star. At least that would be my guess.

The shrimps might be an issue, but it depends on the starfish in question. Asterina are likely safe. Some of the mini-brittles might be more at risk.

im pretty sure there mini brittles.. there very small and have long thin arms

Well, most shrimp aren't particularly picky about what they eat. I guess I wouldn't worry excessively, but you might lose some to cleaner or peppermint shrimp, if that's what you have.
