Cleanup crews bioload

I searched but didn't really find a good answer. My question is how much affect does a cleanup crews bioload have on a tank? Is it like adding a fish or two? Or will it not really affect it at all. Let's say for a 90g display about 50 snails and 5 hermits. Thanks in advance.

no affect, unless they are giant Mexican turbo snails they poop ALOT.

Depending on size and kind of snails that's quite a few. They say 1 turbo for every 5 gallons. Adding a large cleanup crew at once IMO is like adding a few fish at once. Hope this helps. Good luck

Snails are a mix of nassaris and cerith snails

Its job is to poo into the sandbed for 4 weeks before you add the fish you've been qt'ing for 4 weeks. It's a very gentle presence for the sandbed, and helps it develop well.b
