Clown or snail?

Found the string on my glass this morning. Clowns are hovering which makes me suspect clown eggs, but could be snail eggs? I have two clowns, nerite, turbos, Astria, nausirus and trochus snails...

Researching a little more may be verity eggs. I forgot I had a couple of those also

Clown eggs are laid in a patch, mine always on rock or clay, where they can be defended.
If they have a nem, always, by her.
