Only 7 clowns left :(

I had a runt that was really small compared to the rest of the clowns, he died on friday. And yesterday, i had a clown that was acting very strange, he kept hanging around in the corners with his head at the surface, not eating. That one died this morning. The rest of the clowns are eating and active so i dont know what killed him unless they were beating him up because they are constantly fighting now.

I know you already know to keep the water clean and I'm sure you are.

At this point, the tank should either be completely bare of items they can claim as territory or there needs to be enough places to stake claims for everyone.

When I had a BUNCH of babies in a 10 gallon, I just put in a few pieces of PVC pipes both elbow and straight shape. It gave the ones being picked on a place to hide anyway. It was also a great way to catch them when I needed to because all you have to do is cover up both ends with your hands and you've got them.

Good Luck with the rest. You've achieved a lot to make it this far.

Only 5 left, and one doesn't look good. I think its fungus that is killing them. what should i do to try to save them? If i cant keep these guys alive after all of the work it took to get them to this point, I think it will be the last time i will raise clowns...

4 left, but the remaining ones look healthy. My clown pair stopped laying eggs when i rearranged the rocks a bit, so i havent had any larvae for a month :(

heres some pics of the clowns, they are starting to get their third stripe:

They look good! You did it!

I'm not getting eggs anymore either. I think Mama is laying, but I added a wrasse a month or so that I think is eating them.

After a rock rearrange, they often stop but if all else is well they can't help themselves from starting again. It just sometimes will be in a different place.

My pair doesn't seem to want to spawn anymore, i hope i didnt screw anything up rearranging the tank...

WOW! Are those of the babies???

Wonderful that after all your work you got some through.

Are you sure your pair isn't laying somewhere you can't see? Sometimes they'll do that after things are rearranged.

Only the biggest of the two is shown in these pics:

Little guy is looking good. Shame he went on a rampage, though.

I hope you have some success with this latest clutch!

Sorry to hear that.

My pair stopped, too for a long time and then started up again for no apparent reason. I haven't tried raising babies again, though.

Hope it works out for you one day. I know it meant a lot to you.
