Clownfish + Brook + Treatment failure

Hello everyone

So I've had a clownfish in Dec 2017 that I misdiagnosed too late and I guess they had brook and despite all attempting to treat the poor fish died.

Now I have 2 clownfish in that same FOWLR 10 gallon tank.

1. How old is this aquarium?
established Feb 2016

2. If less than six months old, what is ammonia level?
N/A but dumped in prime anyways

3. What is SG of this aquarium? How measured?

~1.023-1.025 refractometer

4. When was the last fish added to this aquarium?

feb 2017

5. Was it quarantined? If so, how? And how long? Was it prophylactically treated? How?

No QT. Placed in my FOWLR. May have done some metro when I first added the fish but I can't remember.

6. If you are using a copper based medication, which one? How often do you measure level? When?

N/A

7. If you are using hyposalinity, how did you calibrate your refractometer?

N/A

8. Please describe in detail, the appearance of the fish? If there is one or more pimples, are they lumpy? What color?

both fish: fins missing pieces, *no* ich or flukes, discoloration throughout with some specific lesions

1 fish: all of the above symptoms + flared gills

9. Please describe the behavior of the fish as best you can. Is it acting reclusive? Is it always up towards the top of the aquarium? Is it avoiding light? How active is the fish?

behavior: spends a lot of time on the bottom of the tank
swims towards food but then doesn't bother trying to eat
seems to not be photophobic
less active than usual but definitely still moving

10. Is the fish eating? What?

both fish refuse to eat
rejected:
mysis
brine shrimp soaked with fresh sliced garlic
fish flakes (their favorite)

Treatment I have tried:
  • 40% water change (I mean not really a treatment but I did it)
  • 1-3 minute freshwater dip (x1 per fish before dosing meds below)
  • removal of carbon followed by
  • 5 day regimen of metroplex (~2g 1x per day at the same time per day) --completed (8/17-8/21)
  • ~1 tsp of prazipro (Sunday Aug 19)
  • ~1 tsp of prazipro (Friday Aug 24)

Is there anything else I can do? I feel terrible this is happening again.

I am sorry no one responded . I come and go at times . And I am just now looking back . I assume these did not make it . My idea would have been either velvet or Brooklynella . http://www.aquariumadvice.com/marine-velvet-amyloodiniosis/ http://www.wetwebmedia.com/amylloodiniumart.htm and http://agrilife.org/fisheries/files...mportant-Parasite-of-Cultured-Marine-Fish.pdf. I would suggest you have on hand cupramine, formalin and chloroquine phosphate in addition to your prazipro and metro. I lean more toward velvet . Sorry it's late advice but this is more for your next go at it .
