Co2 scrubber - who uses one

I'm always struggling with low ph when I haven't windows closed in my apartment so I was thinking about making a scrubber out of old rodi parts I have laying around and was wondering if anyone uses one of these on their tank.

A long as your alk stays constant I wouldn't care about ph. I never tested it once. Don't care about it one bit.

I have certainly run co2 scrubbers on my tanks at various times. If you can, try running the airline to the your skimmer so that it pulls fresh air from outside. Doing that gets me about .1 to .2 in higher pH. Scrubber using the stuff used in scuba rebreathers (calcium hydroxide, I think) gets a another .1 to .2

I only ever needed to run the scrubbers when the house was closed up. So depths of winter and summer.
