cocoon on LR?

My tank has been running for a few months and in the past week I have noticed several small white cocoons growing on the LR. Right now they are different sizes and look cone shaped. Looks like tightly woven fibers sticking in all directions. Does anyone know what they might be.

I am trying to attach a photo but having problems. Will send one as soon as I can.

They sound like harmless filter-feeding sponges.

Do you have any wrasses in the tank? Some spin a web at night.

The only fish are 2 clowns and a soldier fish.

My guess would be sponge, but hard to tell with out picture.
