Yes, but a very good looking, but bald amphipod with a great personality and a 6 pack stomach who hangs out with Supermodel amphipods.

BTW, yes they do eat some algae

They also eat beef stroganoff, tater tots, tu- fu dogs, Mrs Pauls Apple pies and Spam.

I think they eat the algae in my tank, too. Absolutely no algae on the rocks, but a bit in high flow areas (powerheads, hob filter) where I suppose they can't get a grip.

Will be fun to see how your experiment(s) turn out.

A lot of people tell me to "Get a grip" so maybe they are referring to amphipods, or maybe algae. Either way I will probably go out next week and collect some more for my experiment. If I do, I will need to collect a few rocks to keep in their tank for bacteria and to eliviate boredom for them as they get bored quickly and need to be stimulated.
I can't spend all my free time reading Moby Dick to them but they love sea stories.
Maybe I will buy "The Old man and the Sea" even though I read it already.
War stories like "Red October" or "Run Silent Run Deep" are about WW2 submarines and that scares them.
I think Sponge Bob is coming on now, they love that. :fun5:
