Coloration.

Yikes, get some Aiptasia-X to get rid of all those aiptasia you have... If you don't slow them down they will start to take over your tank and it will be a never ending battle.

But I'm glad you like your new lights and I agree the colors already look better.
I know. It's on the list. Ive also contemplated getting a long nose butterfly because they are supposed to eat them.

Some people have gotten lucky with various livestock eating them, but I haven't... I've had to resort to Aiptasia-X for all mine, and it works like a charm. Just make sure you turn off your powerheads beforehand or you will have white crap floating around your tank for an hour or so...

It's really a 50/50 shot if anything will eat them.

Well im going to this frag swap this weekend. If they have one there I'll try it out. If not I'll order some aiptasia x on amazon. Ive had them since day one with this tank. And they haven't been bad until the last month or so. Ive finally got everything squared away to make my corals happy. Which is also making the aiptasia happy

If the infested rocks are removable, take it out and chisel away the area where the aptasias are. Nice rocks. Your tank look much better with the extra LEDs. Nice job!

Great job. For reference. I use this light on my 36g BF. And it was 150 said and done and here are the colors I get.

Look nice. Got a full shot of the tank? I'm looking at a cheap frag tank. Idk if i want to do another diy light or just buy a cheap one.

Here are the full tank shots

The reason the lights are cheap is because they are manually adjustable and not programmable. But I just put then on a couple of cheap timers and it works great! There is another brand called MarsAqua similar style lights for cheap!

Timers would be fine for a frag tank. What's the total wattage? My only concern is needing to acclimate them to my DT lights when i move them over.

The total wattage is 300. 60x5w LEDS.
Here is the break down

I have that same skimmer
Yeah honestly I have heard so many bad things about it. But after dialing it in and marking my water level works amazing!

That would do great then. Also i agree 100%. Mine pumps out black coffee. Ive never owned another skimmer to compare it to but i have no regrets about this one.

Yeah I think they have longer ones too if you have a long tank
