Compatable bulbs for Coralife fixture

I have the Coralife clip on hqi light. It seems the fixture is now called Aqualight Advanced: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+8075+13922&pcatid=13922

I read a post in the equipment forum saying that I need to use Coralife bulbs with the Coralife clip on fixture. They mentioned that the fixture didn't have an ignitor so it was built into the bulb. With the Aqualight Advanced fixture you have several compatable bulbs listed for use with it. Since mine was purchased as a Coralife fixture is there any validity to the above claim or can I use another brand of bulb as listed with the Aqualight Advanced fixture?

Thank you. Is the Aqualight Advanced made by Coralife? I know mine was listed as a Coralife fixture a they look identical.

Thank you for your patience while we obtained this information for you. We have contacted the manufacturer regarding the Aqualight Advanced. They have assured us you can use any HQI bulb as a replacement as long as the wattage or ratings are the same.
