Conductivity probe

Hi,
I just pickup a conductivity probe about 4 months ago and now its showing 0000. Should I recalibrate it?

Here are the possibilities:
- Probe has some platting. Try soaking in vinegar for 24 hours or other mildly acetic solution.
- Probe glass casing is broken. Most likely caused by a drop.
- The controller has a problem w/ the cond. circuitry.

Based upon past experience the first 2 options are much more likely then the 3rd option.
