ive been trying to search closed loop oceans motions wave makers all day but the stupid search engine is down. so, lets see some of your ocean motion setups. looking for ideas in my new 95g wave. thanks

Just went to their site www.oceansmotions.com and it is working.

I love the 4-way that I have on my 90. Look on their site at the pictures of peoples set ups -- I think that it is in the forum section. Also, best bet is to speak to Paul at OM -- he can answer any questions that you have.

The key is setting it up right (i.e. pump size, returns) or I wouldn't waste the money. It is not cheap after you add up the costs to implement it but as far as I am concerned it is money well spent to achieve the flow in my tank that I was looking for.

Awesome device, great prices, the best customer support anybody could ever ask for. You will find very few (if anybody) that has anything bad to say about these. There really isn't anything like it or better out there.

what mine infrared? I may have been in it before :) ( I worked in a large number of the mines in PA over the years). Your out east, anthracite or surface I would guess?

Great customer service.

I worked with Paul on my design ideas. He helped me change my design and told me I didn't need to buy some of his products for my application. Honest recommendations from someone who takes pride in their work and advice. I wish all my dealings were with people like Paul. I bought the Super Squirt for the 75gal I'm building.

A week later my SCWD quit working. No hesitation at all had him send me a Squirt for my small tank. I wont build a tank in the future that doesn't have a OceansMotions on it.

Bean, yes it is a surface mine here in Northeast PA. i work for a company called Silverbrok Anthracite running heavy equipment and drill rigs. Our current mine is near Scranton, PA. Unfortunatly we quit deep mining before i had an oppertunity to go down, but as odd as it seems, I love my job.

I have a 4-way on mine, and I was having some trouble with the CLS drains taking up some sand, and it was clogging the 4-way drum, preventing it from rotating. I discussed this with Paul, and he sent me a smaller diameter drum (smaller by a few mils) at NO COST. I offered to pay, but he stated that he wanted me to be happy. Can't beat that kind of customer service.

cmhollis... I sent paul an email in a sunday, hoping to hear from him in a few days, the phone rang 20 minutes later!

Same deal, I have a maroon clown that causes sandstorms. He offered to send me a smaller diameter drum at no charge (among several other ideas and offers for help). Honestly, you just will not find a better company to deal with. Not only is the "offer of support" there, but the follow through is as well.

infred... I have spent 15 years working in undeground mines, strip mines, quaries and similar operations. Mostly coal, but limestone, copper, salt, and other operations. I have been under the ocean in nova scotia (coal seam follows the sea floor) and in several mine fires (price utah, blacksville wv among others) and honestly enjoy the work, as strange as it may sound! I have also spent a lot of time running big rock drills and enjoyed that as well. I now own an IT consulting company and only travel below in emergencies or when my expertise is needed in special situations. Funny though, I have never been in an anthracite mine or strip operation.
