I remember reading a long time ago that the cost has more to do with freight, and there being very few exports from Mauritius that require air transport.

I'm pretty sure Brent was refunded the money from LA, and purchased it from a reefer in PA.

As I recall he was extremely careful to document everything with pictures and still had a heck of a time getting that refund. I'd be WAY to scared to invest that much in a fish. But, I guess if you worry about the price of something, you probably can't afford it anyway. Too rich for my blood.
