Clams 55, I've had my copperband for a year and half now. I feed him black worms in QT while he learned how to eat frozen. Between the black worms and a lot of Apista he fattened up very nice. I keep him in QT for 3 months until I felt he was eating frozen good enough. I would QT this fish with a few Apista covered rocks if you can. After a year in the DT I felt that he was looking thin so I stated to feed him via a net with PE Mysis and a few bloodworms. He is the only fish that can pick food through the net and will now just go into the net and gourd himself. He has grown more in the past three months than he did in a year and is as healthy as ever. I've also found that he eats vigorously when I place a net full of food in the tank about 15 min before the lights come on and again right after the lights go off.
My biggest concern, for your tank, would be added it to a tank that size with an established Yellow Tang. I'm guessing the tang will be really rough on it.
