JELWYOMING
I see that you have several austrailian copperbands in your diver's den. How long have these been with you? Are they eating well, and if so, what?
Thx

jelwyoming,

Thank you for contacting us with your questions regarding the beautiful butterfly fish we have. We feed our fish brine and mysis shrimp soaked in Selcon. We apologize we would have to contact our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility to see how long we have had them. We will post as soon as we have an answer on Monday. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for the answer. Reading your quarentine procedure, it looks like you probably have had them for a while. I look forward to the answer.

jelwyoming,

Thank you for your patience. The Copperband Butterflyfish that our located in our Diver’s Den selection have been there since August 21st. They have both been fed a variety of foods, but they especially love enriched Mysis Shrimp.

copperband

Well, I ordered it today! I had one for a year or so, but had a loss of power that killed 75% of my fish (largely from LA). The copperband was one of my favorites. I am hoping that this one having gone through your quarentine process can be acclimated and put right in to reduce the overall stress. I do that only with my super sensitive fish that come from facilities like yours where the risk of health problems is substantially less.
I hope that this one likes apistatia!
Thanks! JEL
