Questions:

1) What level of Coppersafe do I need to maintain?
I will be using Pharm Copper Test Kit.

2) How long do I use it for?

3) Do I keep dosing to maintain the level or does the level stays the same throughout the treatment?

4) How long do I have to keep the fishes after the treatment?

Ok, I researched it more after the search function returned.

Question 1 is Answered. Just Dave answered it 4/6/05

2. Generally a copper treatment goes for 14 days, but the best thing is to follow the medication manufacturer's recommendations.

4. After the treatment is complete, you hold the fish in quarantine at least 6 more weeks to verify that your treatment was successful. Generally, any 'missed' parasites will multiply in large enough numbers so that you can detect them in about 6 weeks.

6. Changing the water in the QT is done on an as-needed basis. You change the QT water when it becomes polluted or your readings of ammonia, nitrites, or ? is above acceptable quantities.
