Hello I am a new reefer.
I just got frags of the followings:
What coral food do I need for them?
Zoa
Green star polps
Pulsing Xenia
mushroom.

Also a 3" rbta. I think I will feed it shrimp or oyster weekly.
thanks

With adequate lighting they don't need anything. If you were to feed, really only the zoas and maybe the shrooms depending on the type would respond noticeably to feeding, and the food would need to be fine. Reefroids is a tried and true powder food. Fauna Marin also makes powdered foods - Coral Dust and Coral Sprint - that look interesting, but I haven't tried those.

I am deciding between Reef Roids and Vitalis soft coral food for growth promotion.
Zoa, leather, xenia, green star polyps, torches.
Which one will you prefer?
Thank you

I’ve always used reefroids. Never heard of Vitalis but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good food

I feed the vitalis LPS pellets to my ricordea, euphylia, and duncan every week. They devour it. I imagine their soft coral food would be good as well. I feed reefroids to everything else.
