I have a long polyp leather (~4" long) that is tearing off its frag plug. The plug is attached to my rock. Not sure why it's tearing, but I want to fix it before it completely falls off. Any suggestions?
It was most likely loosely attached to the plug, and flow in the tank has it towards the rock it's leaning against. It will attach to the rock and plant itself there. Once it does that, you can pull the plug out and it will look much better.
In fact, it would be really easy to just cut it out from the plug, attach it to one of your rocks with a rubber band and you'll have a better looking coral holder in a matter of a week.
