Coralife Supper Skimmer 220 + Ozone, Questions

Just wondering if any one has run Ozone with there CSS 220 HOT Skimmer (Or simulate CSS Skimmer)?

I have considered about adding Ozone to my system although I am not 100% sure on this idea as I do NOT have a sump. Therefor toss a carbon bag in the skimmers return box? I know loose ozone in the system is BAD.

If I did get ozone, I was looking at the Aqua Zone Deluxe 50 Ozonizer/Controller by Red Sea; might as well do it and do it right. Would the 50 be enough, I have a 75g, and would like a 120g later.

Also what about a UV? A better option? I was looking at a HOT UV and run it off my canister filter, yes? I do assume a UV won't "Polish" the water like ozone will.

Do you really need it? I wouldn't take the risk, spend the money, and add machinery to a tank without a sump to hide it in unless it did some magical changes to my reef

I have the superskimmer 220 (and a G2) with ozone on my 260. I can tell you that I have seem greater polyp extension when my ORP is above 300 than when its under.

If you want to discuss ORP, mine is around 300 at night about 320 to 350 in day.
So you may be right, just try'n new things.
