Coraline algae in a bottle

I found a product on line called Coraline in a Bottle. Its said to contain live coraline algae spores. Comes in a pink strain and purple strain.
Please tell me not to waste my money unless its actually good stuff.

I have no first hand knowledge of it, but you can probably accomplish the same thing with some coraline scrapings off of someone else’s glass. No reason to even try it in mine. My urchins eat it off the rock as quickly as it grows.

Now in all seriousness, find a local and get some from them or when you buy a frag get one worth lots of coralline on the plug. Those will work far better.

use a blender to grind it up to pulp then dump in the tank to let settle. MUCH faster growth.
