How long should i guard my corals while they eat?, my hernits and shrimp don´t let them eat in pease

I've heard that some people take a 2 liter bottle of soda (empty of course) and cut the bottom off. Make sure that it is tall enough to fit over the coral(s) you are feeding. Then you place the soda bottle over the coral and put the food down the spout of the bottle. This should keep the critters from getting to the coral. Then when you think the corals had enough to eat you take the soda bottle out.
