Cover for 10 gallon

Hello,

I just bought a 10 gallon tank but it has no cover. Do you have any ideas on how to make a cover for my QT tank? And quickly, the water seems to be a little mirky in the QT is there anyway to clean it? Ive had the DT filter running on the QT and nothing. Is the QT still dirty? should i had vinegar to the water?

Either a sheet of plexi-glass or Egg crate (Light Diffuser) from Home depot would work. The light diffuser will be easier to cut to fit, all you need is a pair of pliers.

vinegar will only lower your ph. how about a water and media change?
