Cowfish killed toadstool?

I recently purchased a cowfish and he seemed to have been spending a lot of time around my toadstool. In fact, it was very strange, it almost seemed like he was trying to host it. Since he has began doing that, the tentacles have not been coming out on the top of it, I have had to move it to keep the cowfish away and now it is turning white in some spots.
Now my cowfish has been "friends" with a yellow something and now it's not blooming as much as it had before... is the cowfish doing something to the corals???

yes clowns will kill any coral they host in.. or the coral could be shedding... but i repeat clowns will kill any coral they host in...

You typed cowfish twice.. Cowfish are not reef safe, he's probably consuming the toadstool and anything else.

Depends on the cowfish and the coral.

My tetrasomus gibbosus has no interest in shrooms, xenia, gorgonians or capnella.
