CPR Aquafuge Pro Sump Refugium

Welcome to RC.

Sometimes threads fall very quickly in this forum because of all the traffic .

I don't think the CPR sump/fuge/skimmer combo is the best idea, and it's overpriced for what you actually get IMO. Generally, the skimmer in sump/skimmer combos are pretty weak. You'd be better off buying a sump and adding an appropriately sized, stand-alone skimmer such as ASM, EuroReef, MRC, etc.

I'd suggest finding a local saltwater club and getting in contact with them. RC has a nice listing: http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=80

A local reef club may be able to direct you to local, reliable dealers or manufacturers, perhaps saving you some money as well.

I hope you find RC as enjoyable and educational as I have.

Keep asking questions as you go. Do your research. Don't bilndly trust a LFS. And know that there is no one way to set up a successful tank.

I hope this helps.
