CPR Bak Pak Skimmer (Bubble Problem)

Hi Guys I saw a couple of treads about a Micro Bubble problems and didnt really see any solutions..

Most of the bubbles are coming from the Rio Pump and if I plug up the air tube to the Rio it stops but it seems the skimmer isnt working well then..... any suggestions

What model of Bak Pak? Could you post a picture or a link? I think they still sell various bubble traps that might help.

That pump is not connected properly. The nozzle that is spewing bubbles should be connected to the other nozzle near the impeller.

I have a tube running from that outlet to the second inlet in front of the propeller and mine works well, for a bakpak.

I would suggest running that with a tube to the intake in the front (its a venturi from what I understand) and that will increase the bubbles and therefore increase the efficiency of the skimmer. Otherwise you can just run a tube from that outlet and just run it outside of the tank..hanging off of the back.
