Critique my new algae scrubber setup

OK. So I finally got everything set up. I purchased a 54 watt led grow light from Amazon and that is what I'm using. My main concern is that the light is very concentrated in the middle of the screen. I moved it about 6 inches from the screen to try and widen the coverage but it did very little. Do you think I need some sort of diffuser on the light to get more even coverage or do you think this will work? Any other comments are welcome. Thanks.

If nothing else please secure that light to the pipe with a zip tie as well.

If you accidentally bump it I would hate to have it drop in the water

WOW good call that reefer just saved your life and the life of your fish!

are you going to be running plastic wrap down the ATS screen? that would help with splash on your new light.
the light does look pretty concentrated. how many cubes per day is your screen?

Hopefully everything is GFCI so no lives were saved just some equipment.

Thanks for the replies. The first thing I did was take 2 zip ties to tie to the bracket clamp that holds us in place. It had me scared to death just looking at it dangling over the water. LOL. I did put Saran wrap over the screen as well. I'll try removing the lens. The concentration of the light is what worries me the most but I've seen several ppl on different forums recommend that kind of light so not sure if it's just me.
