Well I can tell you how I celebrated 9999. By scooping pus out of an infected lumbar spine wound in the OR.
10k is what it is I spose. Time to reflect? Perhaps. What's happened in that time? Couple jobs. Found love (several times) true love once though. Engaged in Italy. Married in Key West. Been to China, Ireland, Maui (twice). Owned 2 homes. Had a 72 bow, 180, 70, 24 aquapod, 40 breeder, now the 200.
None of it compares to having my 2 healthy happy kids. Which I will blame for the last 3000 posts. 2 kids under 2 slows life down a bit. Not much to do but sit around, surf RC....A LOT! Hopefully I've helped a few people out. Hopefully I've helped put reef keeping in Syracuse on the radar in URS.
Met a lot if great people, seen some good folks get out of the hobby. I don't know what it is, I love this hobby. I wish it paid better. I could look at tanks and corals all day (lately I have been, not much else to do when a 3 month old is keeping you up in the middle of the night, and a 20 month old is waking you up early.
As for Walter and Brandon :ape: :ape:
Brandon, you are a great triathlete, but you are a douche bag if you think that sweet little fiancée of yours isn't going to turn into a ball slapping nag shortly after you say I do. You will watch your priority at home fall from Numero Uno, to getting yelled at in Target in front of the rest of us like you're two. You'll be in line behind your kids, your dogs and your wifey's cup cake customers. Your weight will go up, and your times will go down all while she takes FULL CREDIT for any compliments your tank might receive.
Walter, don't feel like less of a man for picturing me in scrubs. Its not your fault I make em look so good. I don't want you on here any more than you are. I need your technical nerdery at my disposal, HOWEVER, the rest of your free time should continue to be, NOT on RC, but continuing to make me free beers!
As for 10k? My feelings are too hurt by these personal attacks....so you'll just have to wait to get my cake.......
