cutting flordia ric

hi i have a flordia ric green mouth and orange everywher else how should i go about cutting it how many pieces i cut one in half a while ago and it didnt work they both died off and once i do cut it hw long befor it heals and what flow should it be at

i cut mine in half an low flo..they heal quicker that way..get a piece of the mouth if possible..

cutting in half and geting some of the mouth/stomach on each part will allow it to grow faster and heal faster .. on the other hand .. if u dont get any stomach/mouth it will still regenerate
