I just bought some cycpl-eeze, I was wondering what the best way to use this stuff is? Fairly new to the coral keeping end so if this question sound dumb please be genital. lol

I hope you mean gentle!

I don't use it, but everything I've read says to use it sparingly b/c it's easy to overfeed.

A lot of people seem to target feed it. They thaw a little in some fresh RO water, turn off the circulation, and use a syringe or pipette to target feed the corals.

I like the frozen, turn down the flow a bit so its not washed away immediatly, the corals and fish will take it from there.

My fishies love the stuff.

And I'd have to see a picture first before I could comment on the whole genital thing. ;) Wait a sec...you're in construction? nevermind :eek1:

I guess that would depend on what you have and how many you have? If you have a few corals/clams I would do it once in a while/week. I feed 3-4 times per week-but I am to the gills on polyps. The fish LOVE IT! good luck-jmho-and turn the skimmer off for a day!

I usually just wave the bar around and the fish go nuts. If any make it to the corals I really don't think so in my tank but I'm sure some do. It makes a real pretty red snowstorm like one of those snow scene shaker things.

I usually smash my bars up and drop a marble size peice into a cup of water to thaw.. then into the tank with a turkey baster.. btw it will make your skimmer go nuts so i always shut mine off

I have a rather large chunk of it, I just wave it around (most likely way too much) and it does like Roy said. I don't turn off my skimmer or the water movement. Who gets how much or any at all I don't know. But I don't use it until my lights off of, thats when my Favia brain eats. I know the fish love it.
