dark patches under skin

Hi everyone,

I bought a lemonpeel angel for my 55g tank on monday and he has full colour and is eating prepared food and picking at the rock but i have noticed dark patches on him that appear to be under his skin. i will try to get a photo soon, but from this description does anybody have an idea of what it may be?

did you get to the bottom of this problem? I have a lemon peel wih a similar prob and I was wondering what you figured out?
