Dead rock

Hey guys, I have some ex-live rock that has been sitting dry in some buckets for a couple of years now, and was wondering what I have to do to reuse it again? soak in ro water for a couple of weeks? I am going to create some rock structures with it.

I'm doing this with 300 lbs of LR right now due to a bryopsis infestation that I couldn't beat. I'm soaking it in bleach water for a few days then plan on soaking it in RODI for a week or two after rinsing it well.

a small amount of bleach right? maybe a cup in a 5 gal bucket?

I probably just would cure the rock, at this point. If the tank had a lot of nutrient problems, the rock might have adsorbed a lot of phosphate, but I'd probably just put it in a tub and see how it goes.

I used about 1/2 cup per 5 gal.
