Well i was able to get ahold of some mag pellets, Do i dose it the same with the epsom salts??
Also whats a good epsom to look out for? Any reccomended?
One last thing since i see that the recipe calls for both in mg suppliment i take i cant just use the dead sea works alone without the epsom salt?

What are you doing with it? Making a two part, or just magnesium supplementing?

here's the recipe that uses MAG flake for a two part:

An Improved Do-it-Yourself Two-Part Calcium and Alkalinity Supplement System

here's the recipe that uses MAG flake for a magnesium only supplement:

Do-It-Yourself Magnesium Supplements for the Reef Aquarium

and here are two threads dealing with pellets and how they differ from MAG flake in the recipe:

Any drug store brand of Epsom salt is likely fine. :)

(Just mag suppliment, I added dolomite but i have a MG sink, and lose mg fast due to alot of lps corals sucking it out)
I just need to suppliment MG i was going thru 3-4 bottles of kent tech M every month.
I will check the links (Thanks randy) But i assumed there was a reason the epsom salts were added to equal out something.

Yes, there is, but the amount needed depends on the use. Use the recipe in the second link.
